The EQ Extra Series
What is the START goal framework used in the development plans?
The START goal framework is based on research into SMART and WOOP goals. It encourages individuals to plan their goals using the following points:

Strategy (which specific actions am I going to take?)
Time (when am I going to start?)
Achieve (how will I measure success?)
Resources (what resources will I need?)
Test (what potential tests may I face?)
The videos refer to research – where can I find these studies?
A reference list for the research behind each video is available. For individual users this can be found in the resources section of your account. For organisations using the Business or Premium plan, we provide this document alongside the video files.

Are there any examples of how EQ Extra can be used?

Do I need to watch all 15 videos?
No. EQ Extra is designed as 15 self-contained videos, meaning these videos can be viewed separately or as a whole series. You could choose to only watch the videos relating to the areas of emotional intelligence you want to develop. Equally, you may decide to watch the entire series to deepen your knowledge of each area of emotional intelligence.

Pricing Plans
I want to add these videos to my organisation's learning platform. How does this work?
To host EQ Extra on your organisation's learning platform, you will need to purchase the Business or Premium plan. We will provide access to the videos and development plans via SharePoint, allowing you to download the files and distribute them internally.
How do I access the videos on the individual plan?
Upon purchasing the individual plan, we will set you up with an account on our Talent LMS system. You will then be able to view the videos on this platform for 6 months. You will also find the development plans and reference lists within the files section.
How does the coach plan work?
The coach plan is ideal for coaches wanting to use EQ Extra with their clients or organisations who plan to use the series with a small number of employees.
This plan provides you with 10 user licenses. Each license provides an individual with 6 months access to EQ Extra on our Talent LMS system. This 6-month access only starts once the user license has been activated.
When you want to activate one of your user licenses, please contact us with the name and email of your client or colleague and we will set up their account.

What is the EQ-i 2.0 model of emotional intelligence?
The EQ-i 2.0 model of emotional intelligence defines emotional intelligence as a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way. The model is split in to 5 composite areas and 15 subscales. Each of the 15 subscales are included in the EQ Extra series.

Please note: The EQ Extra series can be used without completing the EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessment. However, the videos are compatible with the EQ-i 2.0 model and offer additional development strategies to those found in the EQ-i 2.0 reports.
